Abstract: Water system valve is a point feature class that represents the potable water system valves in the County, both publicly and privately maintained. System valves are isolation valves; they prevent the flow of fluid. This dataset is derived from a variety of sources some of which are: asbuilts/record drawings, GPS data, soft digs, field verifications, and half section records.
Purpose: To provide the backbone for the County to conduct analysis, planning, safeguarding, and assist/work order management regarding the particular facility.
