 "description": "<p>This address locator provides geocoding for Manatee County addresses in the WGS 84 geographic coordinate system (EPSG:4326). It was created by the Emergency Communications Center to support Octave OnCall Records, which accepts coordinates only in EPSG:4326, and is available for any county workflow requiring geocoded output in decimal degrees.<\/p><p><strong>Reference data.<\/strong> The locator was built with the Create Locator tool using three feature classes maintained by Manatee County GIS-ITS in the enterprise geodatabase (GISProd.sde):<\/p><ul>\n<li><strong>Site_Address_Points<\/strong> \u2014 Point Address role<\/li>\n<li><strong>Road_Centerlines<\/strong> \u2014 Street Address role, supplying address ranges for interpolated matches<\/li>\n<li><strong>GIS_PARCELS<\/strong> \u2014 Parcel role<\/li>\n<\/ul><p>Because all three roles are held within a single locator, candidates from every role are scored together and returned by match score rather than by a fixed cascade between separate locators. Point address matches will generally outrank interpolated street or parcel matches for the same input, but the ranking is score-driven and should be reviewed when match confidence is low.<\/p><p>\n\n\n\n<\/p><p><strong>Coordinate system.<\/strong> Source data is maintained in the county's standard projected coordinate system and was reprojected to EPSG:4326 for this locator. The 4326 output is a downstream system requirement, not a change to the county's coordinate standard. Distance and area measurements should not be taken from geocoded<\/p>",
