Process Description: Currently the Latitude, Longitude, Orthometric Height and Ellipsoid Height extracted from the NGS DataSheet are included in the download ShapeFile. From this shapefile the horizontal control points were extracted to create the feature class.

Overview Description:
Entity and Attribute Overview: Points from each individual feature class were selected using the following methods: a. [ELLIP_HT] = ' ' b. [ELLIP_HT] <> ' ' Points selected using method A were copied into the Horizontal feature class and points selected using method B were copied into the Vertical feature class. One other field named POS_ORDER was reviewed. a. If the field is in the Horizontal feature class, the entries were ' ', '1','2' and '3'. b. If the field is in the Vertical feature class, the entries were 'A', 'B', '1', '2'and '3'. c. A conclusion was formed that ' ' was a null entry and A, B, 1, 2 and 3 are the hierarchy of the accuracy in their respective order. In the Vertical feature class, 11 points have the 'A' designation, 38 have 'B', 363 have '1', 196 have '2' and 9 have '3'. In the Horizontal feature class, 2292 have the ' ' designation, 71 have '1', 1044 have '2' and 401 have '3'.
