Garbage and Recycling

MANATEE COUNTY HAS NOT CANCELED OR CHANGED ITS RECYCLING PROGRAM
PLEASE CONTINUE TO RECYCLE PER YOUR NORMAL COLLECTION SCHEDULE

RECYCLING CART DELIVERY DELAY

Unincorporated Manatee County residents we are experiencing a delay on delivering recycling carts for new residents or swap outs due to damage. Unfortunately, due to a shortage of employees and manufacturer delays, we apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for understanding.

Our collection schedule has not changed

Residential garbage, yard waste and recycling collections are running behind due to unexpected hauler employee illnesses and staffing shortages. All garbage, yard waste and recycling services are being collected according to the normal schedules.

Please leave your items out until 7 p.m. on the normal collection day, if not collected by then, bring it in and put it back out before 6 a.m. the next morning. If your scheduled pick up is missed, every attempt will be made by the haulers to collect it the following day. All collections will be completed by Saturday evening each week.

If you do not live within the unincorporated portion of Manatee County (you do not pay Manatee County Utilities Department for these services), please contact your local garbage provider.
