Posted on 04/27/2021

Come celebrate Economic Development Week (EDW) with your Manatee County economic development professionals, partners, the community, and the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).

ED Week is an annual platform for Manatee County to showcase our collective successes in the important work of job creation, career and workforce development, economic expansion, attraction of investors, and improving the overall quality of life here in Manatee County.

We join all 50 states and millions of businesses, individuals, and organizations for this important week. Manatee County encourages business growth, good jobs, and community prosperity. We will be showcasing local businesses and programs all throughout the week around the theme of Robust, Resilient and Inclusive Economic Development. #ManateeMomentum.

Planned activities for the week include:

  • May 9-15: Economic Development Week social media campaign
  • May 9-15: Economic Development Week virtual treasure hunt (play along daily on Manatee County's Facebook or Instagram!)
  • May 9-15: Economic Development Exhibit on 1st floor of the County Administration Building
