The Manatee County Health Care Plan helps provide medical care for those who cannot afford traditional medical insurance.
The Plan offers patients a continuum of care focused on prevention and early intervention rather than expensive emergency department and inpatient care.

To assure, within available resources, the access and delivery of quality health care treatment and preventive services to the county’s eligible residents, who lack other health care coverage.

Care coordination and promoting health education, prevention, screening, early intervention, and disease and case management.
