Turning Points and its partners are hosting the 20th year of helping homeless Veterans in Manatee County through Stand Down.

When:  Saturday November 3rd, 2018
8:00 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Where:  Manatee County Fair Grounds
1303 17th St West
Palmetto, FL

Stand Down focuses on helping homeless and potentially homeless Veterans and their families but also helps non-Veterans and their families receive critical needs services.

These services include:

  • Breakfast
  • Hot Lunch
  • Showers
  • Distribution of Hygiene Products
  • Clothing Distribution
  • Haircuts
  • General and Mental Health Screenings (including flu shots)
  • Dental Screenings
  • Eye Exams
  • Resume Assistance
  • Florida ID/Drivers License
  • Veteran Services
  • Amnesty Court
  • Bicycle Raffle
The Open Door Band will be performing live all morning at the Main Stage. There will be fun kids’ activities throughout the morning. Turning Points will announce other guests and performances soon.
