Please note that the annual event scheduled at Veterans’ Monument Park has been moved to a closed ceremony inside the Board of County Commissioners Chamber. The event will be filmed by METV and live streamed on the County Facebook page @ManateeGov. This year's guest speaker will be Anthony Hardie, a Veterans’ advocate and national leader related to Gulf War Veterans’ health. The invocation will be given by Edwin Robinson, Chairman, and the Manatee County Proclamation will be read by Renee Medina, Manatee County Veterans Services Division Manager.

Anna Maria Island Veterans Day Parade

Sarasota National Cemetery Catholic Memorial Mass
Given by Most Reverend Frank J. Dewane, Bishop of the Diocese of Venice, along with the priests, deacons and Knights of Columbus.
2:45 p.m.
Patriot Plaza, 9810 State Highway 72, Sarasota.
Ample parking and seating are available on site, and transportation from parking to the amphitheater will be provided.
