Manatee Libraries Welcomes You to Visit

During National Library Week (April 4 to 10), it is fitting that the theme is “Welcome to the Library.”

Throughout the pandemic, the Manatee Libraries' team has continued to welcome residents to explore its many resource offerings. They have developed and launched a long list of virtual programming, including preschool storytimes, tech classes, arts and crafts, book clubs and games. In addition, they implemented curbside pickup appointments at all six of its locations, went fine free and provided more hotspots for checkout.

Manatee Libraries’ team invites residents to visit virtually or in person. Still keeping with social-distancing guidelines, computers and WiFi are available at each location on a limited basis. See hours and locations.

For those wanting to access resources from home or work, Manatee Libraries offers eBook/eAudioBooks, streaming movies and music, emagazines, Lynda.com tutorials, Tutor.com, Mango languages, small business resources and career help. Digital library cards are available for those who don’t have a library card.
