Rich D'Alessandro, Library Assistant at Manatee Libraries, was named Manatee County's 2020 Employee of the Year during this morning's County Administrator's Leadership Team Meeting.
D'Alessandro previously was selected as Manatee County's November 2020 Employee of the Month during the Board of County Commissioners Meeting on November 10.
D'Alessandro has been with the County since June 2016, starting at Downtown Library and now at Rocky Bluff Library in Ellenton. Prior to the County, he worked for Sarasota Herald-Tribune for 19 years as a Home Delivery Manager.
Originally from Medford, MA, D'Alessandro has called Florida home for the past 40 years and Manatee County for the past 14. D'Alessandro is an Army Veteran, having served from 1968 to 1971.
