Grants & Special Projects

We prepare and manage contracts for numerous organizations providing services to the citizens of Manatee County. These services include health, mental health, substance abuse, criminal justice and a wide variety of other human services provided by community Non-Profit Agencies. Funding for these services is provided through grants, or by the Board of County Commissioners.

For further information, please call 941-749-3030.

NON-PROFIT AGENCY FUNDING

Applications for funding are received annually from Non-Profit Agencies for programs primarily serving adults, or for other type programs not targeting children.  If recommended and approved for funding, we develop the Agency contract, and monitor their administrative, fiscal and program compliance.
