Roads that service Island Library (including Gulf Dr. and Marina Dr.) will have detours due to road improvements by City of Holmes Beach and water main construction by Manatee County. Please follow all detour signs and allow additional time to visit Island Library, since delays are expected.
These construction projects are expected to last at least 3 months and possibly up to 6 months. The detours will change as various sections of road and utilities are being worked on. The Islander may also post updates about the construction.
