Downtown Library’s Annual Hiring Fair, which has helped hundreds of people find local jobs since 2013, returns Monday, September 17, from 1 to 4 PM, with more employers and agencies than ever.

Over 40 employers and agencies have registered, representing the financial, construction, manufacturing, education, government, health, hospitality, retail and senior living industries.

Attendees are encouraged to bring extra copies of their resumes and dress in what they might wear to an interview.

Free resume consultations will be provided by the Hiring Fair team and Goodwill Job Connection.

Attendees will be entered into prize drawings, which include a two-night stay at The Westin Sarasota, Amazon gift cards, Starbuck’s gift cards and gift baskets. Winners will be randomly drawn and notified after the fair.

Free coffee will be available in the Second Floor lounge area outside of Area 52, the library’s creative lab which conducts classes related to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math).

Downtown Central Library is located at 1301 Barcarrota Boulevard West, Bradenton 34205, and the event will take place in both the First Floor Auditorium and Second Floor. Attendees are asked to check in on the First Floor.
