Manatee County will receive $252,711,000 in Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery funds to support the long-term recovery efforts from 2024 storms Debby, Helene and Milton.
Help us learn about the community’s unmet needs and develop a public action plan to distribute these funds!
We will hold this public meeting to hear from the community about their unmet needs and collect feedback on projects or programs the community thinks would be most beneficial to support disaster recovery.
Funds can only be used for projects that tie-back to the 2024 declared storms. Examples include restoration of infrastructure (roads, bridges, stormwater, etc.), housing, economic revitalization and mitigation, with a primary focus on assisting low- to moderate-income communities.
