THE SALVATION ARMY – FAMILY SHELTER REHAB PROJECT
Manatee County Government, a political subdivision of the State of Florida (hereinafter referred to as "the County”), will receive proposals from individuals, corporations, partnerships, and other legal entities authorized to do business in the State of Florida, for the rehabilitation of a facility located at 1204 14th Street West, Bradenton, FL 34205. The rehabilitation work involves, but is not limited to, general interior upgrades to the kitchen, common areas, and shelter area; electrical, plumbing, and bathroom improvements; and ADA accessibility. The contractor selected for this project will be responsible for furnishing all necessary engineered drawings, permits, materials, equipment, and labor for a complete project, in accordance with the specifications of this Invitation for Bid.
This project is funded by a United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), as administered through Manatee County. There are federal regulations that may apply throughout the project’s life cycle, including Davis-Bacon wage rates, Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, and Section 3 reporting.
