MANATEE COUNTY, FL (October 31, 2025) – Manatee County is looking for one (1) citizen to be a part of the advisory committee on Investment Policy.
The committee─which makes recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners─meets quarterly to discuss general strategies, monitor results, and make recommendations based on Manatee County’s investment policy and Florida Statutes. This committee ensures the safety of capital, liquidity of funds and investment income.
Committee applicants must reside in Manatee County.
The term of this appointment is for two (2) years. All meetings will be publicly noticed. The committee meets quarterly at the Historic Court House, 3rd Floor Finance Conference Room at 1115 Manatee Ave W., Bradenton, FL 34205.

Financial Management Department
The Financial Management department consists of the budget, fiscal and procurement divisions for Manatee County. The Budget Division manages the operating and capital improvement budgets, infrastructure sales tax revenues and conducts financial analysis for all county departments. The Fiscal Services Division provides fiscal support for the Department Directors and managers for daily operations of county initiatives. The Procurement Division oversees the purchasing for all county departments and divisions.
