Manatee County has completed Hurricane Ian debris collection within the areas of the unincorporated county.  More than 735,000 cubic yards of vegetative, construction and demolition storm debris have been collected by debris contractors since Hurricane Ian impacted the county on September 28, 2022. 

What if I still have storm debris?
  • Homeowners are encouraged to work through their insurance policy, FEMA’s Individual Assistance Program, licensed and insured contractors, or other resources for assistance with additional debris or waste removal.
  • Green and fresh vegetative yard waste should be placed in a bag, can, or bundled for collection by the waste hauler on their scheduled yard waste day (Wednesdays).
  • Bring debris to the Lena Road Landfill which is located at 3333 Lena Road, Bradenton, and is open 8 am to 5pm Monday through Saturday.  Standard disposal fees apply.
