Small Engine Repair Reference Center

What is it?

Small Engine Repair Reference Center, powered by EBSCOhost, provides repair information for most makes and models of ATVs, lawn mowers, generators, diesel engines, motorboats, and personal watercraft, chainsaws, tillers, tractors, and even snowmobiles, right at your fingertips.

Getting Started

Access Small Engine Repair Reference Center through any web browser:

  1. Go to the library’s website and click on the orange Research & Learning button and then on the Articles, Research & Information button.

  2. Click on Auto & Small Engine Repair and then on the Small Engine Repair Reference Center link. You will be prompted to log in with your Patron ID # (back of card) and PIN number.

Using Small Engine Repair Reference Center

  1. Use Small Engine Repair Reference Center by 1) typing in your query in the Basic Search field, 2) choosing Advanced Search for more options, or 3) browsing the list of available publications.

  2. Basic Search allows you to enter a word or phrase. Search suggestions will appear as you begin to type your term(s). Advanced Search gives you options to limit your search by such factors as document type, publication, or published date.

  3. Click on an item in your results list to view the record. The record will display the publication information. Click PDF or HTML Full text on the left-hand side of the page to begin reading the article.

  4. Use the Tools Menu on the right-hand side of the page to print, email, or save the article. You can also use the Cite feature to create a citation.

  5. In order to use the “Add to Folder” and “Create Note” functions to save information for access at another time, you must register for an account or sign into EBSCOhost with a Google Account by clicking Sign-In at the top of the page.
