  • Paint Cans - Paint cans can be placed in the garbage if the following applies: there is no liquid inside the can and the lid has been removed. However, if liquid paint remains in the can, please use it, donate it, or dry it out before putting it in the garbage. Absorbents such as kitty litter or sand can be used to dry out paint cans. Manatee County Residents only can also bring any unused paint to the Lena Road Landfill Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or on the third Saturday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
