Contract with HTT Land Holding, LLC, for the Lease of a Tower to be Used for the New P25 Public Safety Radio System

Authorization to execute a License Agreement between HTT Land Holding, LLC, and Manatee County for the lease of a tower to be used for the new P25 Public Safety Radio System.
As part of the new P25 Public Safety Radio Project, Manatee and Sarasota Counties will share one leased tower site to install, operate, and maintain radio equipment in accordance with the technical design specifications. This tower site will be a point of interconnection of the regional system and will provide for operational redundancy for both Counties. The initial term of the License Agreement is for 15 years, and can be extended in 1-year increments beyond that. Subject to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, the Licensor grants to Licensee the right to install, operate, maintain, repair, replace, and upgrade equipment to be installed for the new P25 Public Safety Radio System.
