Chapters 125 and 127, Florida Statutes. Manatee County Comprehensive Plan Goal 5.1 addresses the safety and efficiency of forecasted vehicular demands.

Background Discussion
  • The 44th Avenue East Road Improvement Project from 45th Street East to 44th Avenue Plaza East was approved in fiscal year 2014 (Project Number 6086960).
  • Parcel 142 is a partial acquisition of a vacant site. This parcel acquisition is 4,656 square feet. This parcel is non-homestead and does not contain any buildings or structures.
  • On March 15, 2017, Appraiser Nick Chop, MAI, Florida Valuation, determined the value of the area for acquisition at $8,750; Land taken, $5,850; Improvements taken, $1,450; Cost to Cure, $1,450.
  • A settlement was reached at $14,000.00 eliminating additional costs for litigation fees or expert fees associated with this agreement.
