Background Discussion
  • According to historical tax rolls dating back to 1944, the county acquired the property via delinquent taxes.
  • A jurisdictional review was completed and no objections were received.
  • The 2017 tax assessed value is $82,500.00.
  • Due to the property not having access to public transportation this property was deemed not suitable for Affordable Housing.
  • Upon adopting Resolution R-17-144, said parcel will be designated surplus, advertised, and sold to the highest bidder  in accordance with the Surplus Lands Ordinance 14-26 and Florida Statutes 125.35.
