  • Execution of Contract for Sale and Purchase with Matthew T. Reagan and Wesley L. Reagan, individually and as Successor Co-Trustees of the E.L. Reagan Residual Trust under the Will of Estell L. Reagan, deceased, dated January 25,1972, and individually and as Successor Co-Trustees of the Esther R. Ferguson Real Estate Trust under Trust Agreement dated April 30, 1996.


Enabling/Regulating Authority

Florida Statutes, Chapter 125, County Government.
Manatee County Comprehensive Plan Goal 9.1 addresses sanitary sewer systems.



Background Discussion
  • The Rye Road Lift Station (Project Number 6086160) is needed to increase sewer capacity for the Del Tierra Subdivision and surrounding area due to increased growth in the area.
  • An appraisal was completed by Vantix Realty on April 29, 2016, and valued the site at $12,100.
  • Negotiations between Manatee County and Wesley and Matt Reagan reached a mutually acceptable offer of $20,000.00.
  • A Phase 1 Environmental  Assessment (ESA 1) was completed on May 24, 2016, by GLE Associates, Inc. The findings and conclusions of the Phase 1 ESA determined no environmental issues and no additional assessment of the property was warranted or recommended.
