The Real Property located at 530 13th Street West, Bradenton, Florida is a vacant facility with no intended County use. The County continues to incur operating expense to maintain facility.
Manatee County acquired the property by Special Warranty Deed dated December 20, 2000, recorded in Official Record Book 2434, Page 2817. The property has a current assessed value of $236,209.00.
The property has been circulated and reviewed by appropriate County departments. All departments expressed no interest in the property.
The BCC adopted Resolution R-13-094 declaring 530 13th Street West, Bradenton, Florida as surplus real property and authorized the sale of such real property on June 4, 2013.
The property was offered for sale in accordance with the Florida Statutes 125.35. The bids were opened on July 12, 2013. The high bid was from SWIFT 530, L.L.C., a Florida Limited Liability Company, in the amount of $401,813.00.
Manatee County staff recommends that the Board accept the SWIFT 530, L.L.C., a Florida Limited Liability Company, offer for the purchase of real and personal property located at 530 13th Street West, Bradenton, Florida in the amount of $401,813.00.
