Amendment Three to the Amended and Restated Agreement 08-2728FL for Automated Red Light Enforcement System and Services

Authorize the County Administrator or his designee to execute Amendment Three to the Amended and Restated Agreement 08-2728FL for Automated Red Light Enforcement System and Services with Conduent State and Local Solutions, Inc.

Amendment Three exercises the first of two five (5) year options, reducing the monthly fee charged per camera for intersections one (1) through ten (10). This reduction is from $4,650 to $4,278 per camera per month for a total of $42,780 per month equating to $513,360 per year. Any additional intersections beyond ten (10), should the Board of County Commissioners decide at a future date to approve additional intersections, would be reduced from $4,475 to $3,165 per camera per month.
In August of 2009, the Board of County Commissioners entered into a three year agreement with ACS State and Local Solutions, Inc., to provide the automated Red Light Running Enforcement Program for Manatee County. The agreement provided for an Automated Red Light Enforcement System and Services to enhance traffic signal violation enforcement in Manatee County.
The Contractor is responsible for a turn-key digital automated red light enforcement system which includes installation of systems, complete processing of notices and citations, and related services for ten intersection approaches.
On September 11, 2012, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Amended and Restated Automated Red Light Enforcement System and Services Agreement 08-2782FL with Xerox State and Local Solutions, Inc. (formerly known as ACS State and Local Solutions, Inc.).
On October 22, 2013, Amendment One added and/or modified the following language:
On May 9, 2017, Amendment Two was executed for a name change from Xerox State and Local Solutions, Inc., to Conduent State and Local Solutions, Inc.
