Authorize the County Administrator or his designee to execute Change Order # 1 to Contract # 12-1881-DS with Gator Grading and Paving, LLC, increasing the contract amount by $ 22,221.85, from $2,712,272.52 to $2,734,494.37 and add 66 calendar days for a revised contract completion date of February 27, 2014.

Change Order #1 increases the Contract amount by $22,221.85 due to unforeseen field conditions. An existing inlet was found to be constructed over a hole in the top of the pipe without a structure bottom. The change order includes a new structure at this location. Also included is a new storm inlet frame and lid to replace an existing inlet frame and lid because the existing lid and frame were not usable. It also provides for a drainage modification to accommodate the drainage for a residential lot that drains to the road and includes the removal of 500 feet of water main that was no longer required.
On February, 27, 2013, the BCC executed a contract with Gator Grading & Paving LLC., in the amount of $2,712,272.52 for roadway and signalization improvements.
