Chapter 125 Florida Statutes.
On August 12, 2014, the School Board of Manatee County approved and executed a Quitclaim Deed for the Old Parrish School House Property to Manatee County.
October 2007 the School Board of Manatee County transferred the Parrish School located at 7006 122nd Ave East, Parrish, to Manatee County for continued public use. At the time, the property was utilized by Parrish Headstart, Parrish Rural Health Department, and Parrish Fire Department. The property was transferred to Manatee County through a Special Warranty Deed, which included a clause for the property to transfer back to the School Board should the property cease to be used for purposes serving the public benefit for the citizens of Manatee County. This quitclaim deed removes the reverter clause from the Special Warranty Deed in 2007.
