Enabling/Regulating Authority

Florida Statutes Chapter 125 and Manatee County Comprehensive Plan Goal 9.1 addresses sanitary sewer systems and 9.4 addresses stormwater management.



Background Discussion

University Parkway Properties, LLC, is required to dedicate a 1340 square foot Permanent Utilities Easement to Manatee County for ingress, egress, construction, and maintenance of surface or underground utility facilities.

University Parkway Properties, LLC, is also required to dedicate a 27,917 square foot Flowage Easement to Manatee County as a drainage reservoir to receive and store water from respective drainage systems, originating from lands within Town Center at University Groves.
