Action Requested
Acceptance of and authorization to record Special Warranty Deed from Oshkosh Corporation for the purchase of Parcels 143A and 143B for the 44th Avenue East Road Improvement Project.

Acceptance of, authorization for Chairman to execute, and authorization to record Temporary Construction Easement from Oshkosh Corporation regarding Parcel 743 for the 44th Avenue East Road Improvement Project.

Enabling/Regulating Authority
Chapters 125 and 127, Florida Statutes.  Manatee County Comprehensive Plan - Goal 5.1 addresses the safety and efficiency of forecasted vehicular demands.

Background Discussion
The 44th Avenue East Road Improvement Project (15th Street East to 19th Street Court East), Project #6045661, was approved in FY 1994/1995 CIP on February 25, 1994, and reapproved in FY 2009/2010 CIP on September 15, 2009, Resolution R-09-219.

The property is located at 1512 38th Avenue East and situated on the east side of 15th Street East and on the north side of the 44th Avenue East road right-of-way.

On April 9, 2013, the Board of County Commissioners executed the Contract for Sale and Purchase for a Special Warranty Deed and a Temporary Construction Easement.

Immediately following execution of the Temporary Construction Easement by the Chairman, Signature Title Company will conduct a closing of this transaction.  Conveyance documents are hereby presented to the Board of County Commissioners for acceptance, execution, and recording.
