Authorization for the Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to execute Change Order No. 1 to Florida Department of Environmental Protection Agreement No. 14ME1.

Background Discussion
  • Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Agreement #14ME1 was executed by the Board on September 24, 2013.  The project consisted of the placement of sand on the federal portion of Anna Maria Island due to Tropical Storm Debby.
  • Amendment #1 to FDEP Agreement 14ME1, extending the completion date to December 31, 2017, was executed by the Board on December 16, 2014.
  • Amendment #2, extending the completion date to December 31, 2020, and reallocating funding among various tasks with no cost increase, was executed by the Board on August 22, 2017.
  • Change Order #1 revises some of the tasks in the grant work plan with no cost increase or time extension.
