Background Discussion
  • On September 14, 2017, the Board of County Commissioners executed a Contract for Sale and Purchase from Benjamin Rivera and Ana Rosa Rivera in the amount of  $18,200.00.
  • The parcel that is needed is a residential site consisting of 34,848 square feet located at 5004 44th Avenue East.
  • The partial acquisition of the parcel is required for the 44th Avenue East Road Improvement Project from 45th Street East to 44th Avenue Plaza East (Project Number 399-6086960).
  • The real estate transaction has closed. This agenda item is to accept the conveyance document and record the documents in Board Records.
  • Independence Acquisition and Appraisal, LLC, was contracted to negotiate an agreement for the land.
