  • Accept and Record Warranty Deed from Lakewood Ranch Stewardship District; and
  • Record Partial Release from Lakewood Ranch Stewardship District; and
  • Record Affidavit of Ownership and Encumbrances from Rex E. Jensen, Chairman of Lakewood Ranch Stewardship District.

Chapter 125, Florida Statutes.

Manatee County Comprehensive Plan Goal 5.1 address the safety and efficiency of forecasted vehicular demands.



Background Discussion
  • The right-of-way that is the subject of this dedication lies within property owned by Lakewood Ranch Stewardship District.
  • Manatee County inspected the road on August 26, 2016.
  • Wood Fern Trail is tied to Mallory Park (PDMU-06-30/15-S-04/FSP-15-07 - DTS20150033).
  • A Maintenance Agreement for Right-of-Way Improvements was executed and approved by the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners on September 22, 2015.
  • The Property Acquisition Division has confirmed that Sage Kamiya, Deputy Director, Traffic Management, is ready to accept the road and improvements.
