Action Requested

Authorization for Chairman to execute, authorization to record, Drainage, Utility and Temporary Construction Easement to the City of Bradenton as a result of the Wares Creek Stormwater Improvement Project.

Background Discussion

The City of Bradenton has requested Manatee County convey a portion of County-owned property, located at the northwest corner of 20th Street West and 12th Avenue West, for a Drainage, Utility and Temporary Construction Easement for the installation of a Hydrodynamic Separator required by Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD).

This Separator will eliminate sand and materials from entering into Wares Creek.

A Temporary Construction Easement is required for use of the parcel during construction for a staging area and for access during construction.

The Drainage, Utility and Temporary Construction Easement is hereby presented to the BCC for execution and recording.
