Authorization for the Chairman to execute FY2012-2013 funding agreement with Meals on Wheels Plus of Manatee, Inc., in the amount of $15,000 for Adult Day Care facility repairs and to approve budget amendment # B-13-024, which transfers $15,000 from the Board of County Commissioners Reserve for Contingency to the Meals on Wheels Adult Day Care fund.

• Meals on Wheels Plus of Manatee provides structured Adult Day Care Services for Manatee County residents, 60 years of age and older. Services include a variety of physical, self-care, educational and health related support services.
• Services have been provided for many years at a facility located at 2703 19th St. Court East in Bradenton. The facility, previously owned by Manatee County, was transferred from County ownership earlier in 2012.
• The Agency has identified various repairs needed to the facility. As these are unplanned repairs, a request was made to the County for funding assistance. Staff is recommending approval of the attached agreement, to provide a one-time lump sum to reimburse Agency for necessary facility repairs. 
• Need for this budget amendment was not identified until after the budget was finalized. The only source of funding available is the Board Reserve for Contingency.
