Background Discussion
- On 9/13/12 the Board adopted FY 2013 budget that included funding for Non-Profit Agencies funded through the Children's Services Dedicated Millage and General Revenue.
- FY2013 Agreement with the Salvation Army has been prepared to provide the appropriate funding mechanism and service level accountability.
- Agreements specify that funding recipients must perform required program specific levels of service and submit documentation supporting the performance of a specified number of "units of service" as defined in each Agreement, and submit, among other items, an audit of Agency and proof of insurance.
- Agencies may be visited multiple times throughout the contract year by Community Services Department staff members, and mothly desk monitoring is conducted.
