Authorize the County Administrator or his designee to execute Amendment No. 1 to Agreement 15-0479FL, One Solution Software License and Services Agreement with Superion, LLC, of Lake Mary, FL, in the amount of $275,668.00 for a revised contract total not to exceed $2,258,266.00.
Manatee County Code of Laws
Amendment No. 1 to Agreement 15-0479FL increases the funding for three (3) contract line items due to the time extension of the ONESolution Project, development of the resource forest, and additional vendor time related to application development. Amendment No. 1 also incorporates a corporate name change from SunGard Public Sector Inc. to Superion, LLC.
The additional funds cover the change orders for additional vendor project management hours due to the application resource forest, additional data migration tasks beyond the original scoped number of migrations which allow for system testing with current data, and the Procurement Task Management System that will provide enhanced tracking, transparency, and efficiency in the purchase requisition processes for the Board of County Commissioners.
On February 10, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners executed Agreement 15-0479FL, One Solution Software License and Services Agreement with SunGard Public Sector Inc. for a total not to exceed amount of $1,982,535.00 and adopted Budget Amendment B-15-031.
Manatee County currently utilizes the Integrated Financial Application System (IFAS) by SunGard for its comprehensive local government financial software system. The current version of IFAS is facing obsolescence due to its restricted functionality, outdated platform, and aging infrastructure that is required to run the software. SunGard has recently upgraded the IFAS replacement and has rebranded it, calling it 'One Solution' to reflect the next upgraded version of the financial software system.
This change is funded from contingency already contained within the project budget.
