Action Requested

FORM OF MOTION:

1.  Approval of, authorization for Chairman to execute, and authorization to record Final Subdivision Plat;

2.  Acceptance of, and authorization to record Lot Drainage and Grading Plans;

3.  Acceptance of, and authorization for Chairman to execute Required Improvements Agreement and Temporary Construction Easement for Private Improvements;  Re:  Surety Bond No. 0606961 from International Fidelity Insurance Company;

4.  Acceptance of, and authorization for Chairman to sign Surety Bond No. 0606961 from International Fidelity Insurance Company;

5.  Acceptance of, and authorization for Chairman to execute Required Improvements Agreement and Temporary Construction Easement for Private Improvements;  Re:  Surety Bond No. 0606962 from International Fidelity Insurance Company;

6.  Acceptance of, and authorization for Chairman to sign Surety Bond No. 0606962 from International Fidelity Insurance Company;

7.  Acceptance of, and authorization for Chairman to execute Required Improvements Agreement;  Re:  Surety Bond No.  0606963 from International Fidelity Insurance Company;

Enabling/Regulating Authority
  • Manatee County Land Development Code, Ordinance 90-01, as amended;
  • Manatee County Comprehensive Plan; Future Land Use Element Goal 2.4, Adequate & Available Public Facilities in all Developing Areas.  The Developer has been issued a Certificate of Level of Service for Potable Water, Solid Waste, Sanitary Sewer, Transit, Drainage, Traffic and Fire Protection, Objective 2.4.2, Concurrency.  The project was issued CLOS # 05-082.


Background Discussion
  • This final plat is for a single-family private subdivision with 33 lots.
  • The Developer has posted performance bonds for the remaining required public and private improvements.
  • All common areas will be maintained by the Copperstone Master Association, Inc. or the Copperstone Community Development District.

  4. Eighth Amendment to Declaration of C,C & R for Copperstone.  (Note:  This document and plat should be recorded before Copperstone IIC)
