Action Requested
  • Execution and Recording of Permanent Utilities Easement Agreement with ALDI (FLORIDA) L.L.C.; and
  • Execution and Recording of Drainage Easement Agreement with ALDI (FLORIDA) L.L.C.; and
  • Accept and Record Conservation Easement from ALDI (FLORIDA) L.L.C.; and
  • Accept and Record Affidavit of Ownership and Encumbrances from Dave Rinaldo, as Vice-President for ALDI (FLORIDA) L.L.C.


Enabling/Regulating Authority
  • Florida Statutes, Chapter 125; and
  • Manatee County Comprehensive Plan Goal 9.5 addresses the potable water system; and
  • Goal 9.4 addresses stormwater management, flooding, and water quality; and
  • Goal 3.3 addresses protection, enhancement and maintenance of natural land and water resources. 


Background Discussion
  • ALDI (FLORIDA) L.L.C. is required to dedicate a 200 square foot permanent utility easement for access and maintenance of utility facilities.
  • ALDI (FLORIDA) L.L.C. is required to dedicate three drainage easements with a combined area of 11,670 square feet; and
  • ALDI (FLORIDA) L.L.C. is required to dedicate an 11,366 square foot drainage maintenance & access easement; and 
  • ALDI (FLORIDA) L.L.C. is required to dedicate a 22,258 square foot conservation easement.
  • All of these easements are required per final site plan approval FSP #15-04 for the new ALDI supermarket.
