Manatee County Water Conservation Program

Water Conservation Programs

The Water Conservation Program is charged with increasing community awareness of water-related issues, educating residents about conservation and responsible irrigation, and providing incentives for customers to implement conservation measures. In support of this mission, the Water Conservation Division produces educational materials that are distributed to customers and school children. The staff participates in neighborhood meetings and community events, such as the Manatee County Fair, promoting water conservation. The staff routinely seeks and receives cooperative funding grants through the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD) to support rebate programs. read on Water Conservation Programs
