Services We Provide

We provide Potable (drinking) Water, Wastewater (sewer), Reclaimed Water, Solid Waste (garbage) and Recycling services for unincorporated Manatee County.  The Customer Service Division provides assistance to new and existing utility customers, and responded to more than 135,000 inquiries last year.

We are responsible for the water supply, treatment, distribution and metering of almost 94,000 retail and four wholesale customers (Sarasota County, Longboat Key, Palmetto and Bradenton). Wastewater treatment is provided for over 86,000 retail customers and the Town of Longboat Key. Garbage service is provided to 86,000 accounts and the Landfill manages over 380,000 tons of material annually as well as Household Hazardous Waste. The Recycling Division promotes recycling through education and special events.
