The purpose of M3 shall be to provide a forum based on education, empowerment, and the development of Manatee County. We strive to develop strong leaders who will then provide political and social engagement. M3 will promote change through dialogue, educational programs, increased involvement, and serve as a voice for all citizens.

The Manatee Millennial Movement was created in January of 2015. A group of 3 members of the Neighborhood Services Department and one person from the Building and Development Services Department were challenged to study the housing trends of Millennials in Manatee County. A survey was created and circulated in the community. Results were delivered to the Commissioners on May 5th. The four original team members (Millennial Design Team) now lead a group of County employees that are Millennials (born between 1980 -2000, M3). This larger group was derived from Department Director referrals.

M3 worked on a special event that took place on April 17, 2015, at Dolphin Aviation in Bradenton called #iSeeManatee. M3 holds monthly meetings in the County Administration Building at 1112 Manatee Avenue West Bradenton, FL 34205.
