The Manatee Libraries’ team wanted to provide a special thank you to its growing customer base, realizing that there has been quite a bit of change taking place throughout each of its six locations and with online use of resources. With libraries expanding on the role of a community center, Library Services Manager, Ava Ehde, said they have worked to implement a wider range of programs and services for all ages which has resulted in increasing numbers of visitors.

Last year, the libraries experienced 850,000 visits, a record 3.9 million items were borrowed and nearly 50,000 people attended programs.

“We wanted to let customers know that our focus is always on them and that we are committed to continuing to meet their evolving needs,” said Ehde. “They are our No. 1 advocates, and we are grateful for their continued support.”
