GIS Interactive Maps
The term "map service" is used to describe interactive maps served online. Our interactive map services are built on ArcGIS Server from ESRI. ArcGIS Server provides advantages such as faster browsing, better security, and more manageable development life cycles. Our ultimate goal is to provide you, the customer, with a faster, more intuitive map browsing experience. We recommend that you use either Firefox or Chrome as your browser when using these map services as Firefox and Chrome are optimized for Javascript and these map services rely very heavily on Javascript, this will provide you with the best overall browsing experience.
New ArcGIS Server Map Services
The GIS Section is pleased to introduce our ArcGIS Server base map services. These map services offer many improvements in performance and usability. Our goal is to eventually update all of our existing map services. Please try out these map servcies and let us know of any bugs you find using the Feedback button located in the bottom right hand corner of each map service.
Aerial Download
The Aerial Download Map Viewer application provides the ability to download aerial imagery from 2003 to present. The Aerial Index Grid, PLSS Sections and Parcels are available as live layers which can be toggled on or off. oads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials are roads and labels specially symbolized for use when an aerial image is used as the basemap.
Benchmarks for Purchase
The Benchmark for Purchase Map Viewer provides information on available benchmarks for which the naming rights can be purchased. PLSS Sections, Parcels, and Parks / Preserves are available as live layers which can be toggled on or off. Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials are roads and labels specially symbolized for use when an aerial image is used as the basemap.
Community Services
The Community-Neighborhood Services Map Viewer contains information regarding the programs and services provided by Manatee County's Community Services and/or Neighborhood Services Departments. You can find information on non-profit agencies dealing with such things as after school programs, mental health and aging. You can also find census, code enforcement and other neighborhood related data.
Future FEMA Impact
The Future FEMA Impact Mapviewer is a map modernization of the existing FIRM Maps utilizing Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR),Hydrologic features, watershed data, and map updates. This viewer contains Current 100 Year Flood Zones and Future - FEMA DFRIM Impact as active layers which can be toggled on or off as needed. Custom queries have made for searching/identifying by Address, Owner, and Parcel ID. Results may return more than one result. These are parcels that are crossed by more than one flood zone. Residents will able to query their property and view the floodplain delineation modifications
when a public announcement is made. This mapviewer will display existing FIRM verses DFIRM floodplain delineation.
Property Locator Map Viewer
The Property Locator Map Viewer application and provides information related to property and property ownership within Manatee County. This viewer contains Fire Districts, Subdivisions, Schools & Libraries, PLSS Sections, Code Enforcement, Political Districts, Municipal Boundaries, Aerial Grid, Parcels, Parcels & Preserves, Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials. Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials are roads and labels specially symbolized for use when an aerial image is used as the basemap.
Land Development Map Viewer
The Land Development Map Viewer application provides information related to the land development process. This viewer contains Fire Districts, Watersheds, FEMA Flood Zones, Citizens Notification Grid, PLSS Sections, Schools, Planning Overlays, Political Districts, Planning Comprehensive Planning, Concurrency, Subdivisions, Parcels, Parks & Preserves, Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials as active layers which can be toggled on or off as needed. Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials are roads and labels specially symbolized for use when an aerial image is used as the basemap. This application also contains the Citizen Notification Widget which enables the user to develop a mailing list of property owners to notify of nearby issues etc.
Public Safety Map Viewer
The Public Safety GIS Viewer application provides information related to Public Safety and Emergency Management. This viewer contains City Boundaries, 100 Year Flood Zone, Building Footprints, Fire Districts, Reference Grids (Firebox & USNG), County Facilities, Hydrants, Hazardous Materials, Fire/EMS Stations, Schools, Emergency Staging Areas, Evacuation Zones/Shelters/Routes, Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials. Roads for Aerial and Labels for Aerials are roads and labels specially symbolized for use when an aerial image is used as the basemap.
Survey Control
The Survey Control Map Viewer application provides information related to survey control points and bench runs within Manatee County. This viewer contains the PLSS Sections, Aerial Grid, Bulkhead Control Points, Horizontal Control NAD 1983, Vertical Control NAVD 1988 (High Precision Geodetic Network), Vertical Control NGVD 1929, OPUS-DB Horizontal Control, Parcels, Parks & Preserves, Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials. Roads for Aerial and Labels for Aerials are roads and labels specially symbolized for use when an aerial image is used as the basemap.
Traffic Counts
The Traffic Counts Map Viewer application provides information related to the traffic analysis services provided by Manatee County. This viewer contains Traffic Counts, Parcels, Address Labels, Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials. Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials are roads and labels specially symbolized for use when an aerial image is used as the basemap.
Utilities Infrastructure (Public)
The Utilities Infrastructure (Public) Map Viewer application provides information related to utility data within Manatee County. This viewer contains data that has been autorized for public relaease realted to Potable Water, Reclaimed Water, Sewer, Fiber Optics, Traffic, Street Lighting, Subdivisions, City Boundaries Parcels, Parks & Preserves, Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials. Roads for Aerial and Labels for Aerials are roads and labels specially symbolized for use when an aerial image is used as the basemap.
Utility Services Map Viewer
The Utilities Services Map Viewer application provides information related to the Utilities Services provided by Manatee County. This viewer contains PLSS Sections, Parcels, Building Footprints, Water Consumption, Utilities Services Accounts, Solid Waste Collection Providers, Recycling Pickup Days, Roads for Aerials and Labels for Aerials.
