Children's Services Advisory Board Funding Priorities

The Children's Services Advisory Board (CSAB) has set priorities for the Fiscal Year 2010/2011 for the Children's Dedicated Millage funds.  They will use this tool to evaluate, prioritize and make recommendations for funding to the Board of County Commissioners.  Each funded program is categorized by the type of service provided.

Funding Purpose Categories

For FY2013, the Advisory Board has develoed six Program Purpose Categories, which are designed to simplify and better define what positive goal is expected from programs that apply to the County for funding.  Outcome statements have been developed to support each of the six Purpose Categories to guide applicants in what should be accomplished under a specific category.

Manatee County Annual Report Card

An annual child well-being report, a comprehensive snapshot of community indicators, is compiled and studied each year by the Children's Services Advisory Board.  The easily accessible format heightens awareness of important children's issues to broad audiences and provides a record of community needs, disparities and trends.
