Program provides kinship support groups, Parenting the Second Time Around workshops for grandparents and other relatives who are raising children due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment, or voluntarily placed by the biological parent in the care of a relative. Speakers are brought in to provide needed information to the caregivers from various agencies. The program uses adult support groups as well as child support groups, parenting workshops, a telephone support line.
