The funding application process is now open for Fiscal Year 16/17.
Agencies looking to apply for the Children’s Services Dedicated Millage funds to help disadvantaged children and families in the community as well as agencies wishing to receive General Revenue funds to assist adult residents or provide other services to Manatee County are encouraged to apply.

Human Services Funding Application period opens: Tuesday, January 19, 2016.
Application Deadline: Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 3:00 pm.
Applicants must be non-profit agencies that are recognized as a corporation under the State of Florida and tax exempt under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

In Manatee County, Children's Services Dedicated Millage funds an array of prevention, intervention, and treatment programs for children birth through seventeen years of age, as required by Manatee County Ordinance 91-42 and associated amendments. read on Children's Services Dedicated Millage
The Children's Services Advisory Board, appointed by the Board of County Commissioners, evaluates, prioritizes, and makes recommendations concerning the needs of Manatee County's children and families.
The currently funded programs are listed under priority categories:
- Crisis Stabilization
- Family Strengthening and Support
- Maternal and Child Health
- Out of School Time and Youth Development
- Prevention and Redirection
