BRADENTON, FLA. – On November 11, one of the Bradenton Area’s most upscale events, Symphony on the Sand, will return to Coquina Beach Gulfside Park on Anna Maria Island. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., Symphony on the Sand will feature the award-winning Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus & Orchestra (AMICCO).

Tickets range in price from $20 (for General Admission) to $125 per person (at a table of 10, which includes catered “small plates” and complimentary wine and beer). Tickets may be purchased here. Free public beach seating is available outside of the fenced area.  A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Anna Maria Island Concert Chorus & Orchestra Youth and Outreach Programs.

The AMICCO and professional soloists will perform tunes from Broadway musicals, noted popular and classical music and patriotic favorites. Featured local restaurants include: The Beach House Restaurant on Bradenton Beach, Coquina Café of Bradenton Beach, The Lazy Lobster in Sarasota, Harry’s Continental Kitchen on Longboat Key and Hometown Desserts in Anna Maria and Bradenton.

“Symphony on the Sand is one of the most unique celebrations offered in the state and we are thrilled that it is returning to Anna Maria Island for its fifth year,” said Elliott Falcione, Executive Director of the Bradenton Area Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Symphony on the Sand will again take place in conjunction with weekend-long artsHOP, a three-day arts and cultural celebration including art walks throughout the island showcasing one-of-a-kind works of local artists – paintings, photographs, sculpture, stained glass, and jewelry – and opportunities to meet the artists and learn about their work. This year’s event also includes a celebration of The Studio at Gulf and Pine’s 10th anniversary, performances at Anna Maria Island Players, an open house and ice cream social at Anna Maria Island Historical Society, gallery walk featuring Anna Maria, Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach galleries, music, refreshments and a special event at the Artists’ Guild of Anna Maria Island Gallery in Holmes Beach on November 10 at 5 p.m.

“The Bradenton Area strives to host world-class events for both residents and visitors to enjoy year-round. This entire weekend in November serves as the perfect opportunity to explore the destination and enjoy many of its top offerings including unbeatable dining, views, art and culture and more,” added Falcione.
