  • Dec 8, 2015

MANATEE COUNTY, FL (Dec. 8, 2015) – Manatee County has two openings for the Criminal Nuisance Abatement Board that will hear cases regarding criminal nuisances on places or premises located in unincorporated Manatee. The Nuisance Abatement Board was created to conduct hearings and enter orders to abate criminal nuisance activities.

The two board seats are for a two-year term.

The board meets on the second Wednesday of each month as required at 10 a.m. at the Manatee County Government Administration Building, 1112 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton.

Applicants should be Manatee County residents and should be interested in providing administrative oversight with authority to impose administrative fines and other non-criminal penalties in order to provide an equitable, expeditious and effective method of enforcing ordinances in unincorporated areas of Manatee County.  Familiarity with the County’s Nuisance Abatement ordinance would be beneficial.
