Early Learning Coalition

Purpose

The mission of the Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County is to provide and coordinate the services of school readiness programs, in an efficient manner, in order to help all children develop the skills needed to achieve future educational success, to support the role of parents as their child's first and most important teacher, and to continue to improve the quality of services available in the community. 

 

Membership Requirements

  • In accordance with Section 411.01, Florida Statutes, the Coalition Board shall have at least eighteen (18) but not more than thirty-five (35) members.
  • One member is required to be appointed to the Early Learning Coalition Board by the Board of County Commissioners. 

Meetings

Members of this Board meet quarterly in order to conduct business and serve on various committees.
