14th Street West Community Redevelopment Area
The 14th Street West CRA Redevelopment Plan was adopted by the Manatee County CRA Agency on December 10, 2002 and the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners on December 17, 2002 and amended in 2006. This CRA is generally located along 14th Street West and 9th Street West from the City of Bradenton city limits, southwest to Cortez Road.

The CRA principally allows for funding of improvements in the area derived from tax increment financing consistent with the adopted Redevelopment Plan.

Community Redevelopment Area Incentives
The 14th Street West CRA is one of two CRAs under the administrative authority of the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners. CRA Advisory Board
The Manatee County Board of County Commissioners acting as the Community Redevelopment Agency is responsible for the two redevelopment areas established within unincorporated Manatee County.
The 14th Street West CRA Advisory Board advises the Community Redevelopment Agency on area matters and implementing the redevelopment plan for the area. Staff support is provided to the board through the Neighborhood Services Department.
Advisory Board vacancies are announced through the media once per year in June and appointments are made by the Board of County Commissioners in July. Members receive an orientation, a handbook, meeting announcements, agenda materials, periodic updates and other information.

The 14th Street West CRA Advisory Board meetings are usually held at the Peace Lutheran Church and School located at 1611 30th Ave W. Bradenton, Florida. Meetings are held four times a year on the third Thursday of the month.
